Gigs: Where you can get Comfy with The Gutters
About
We are Comfy Gutters!
(or at least searching for one)
Folk-rockers Comfy Gutters are an original duo dropping tales of diverse dilemmas that include growing up rough in Tasmania, the perils of modern cruise ship voyages, being unable to romantically compete with a rescued greyhound and the dubious delights of corporate life. JV Scott (vox, guitar, harmonica) and Tim (beats & vox) have just dropped a new single: This Is Where I Crashed My Car. Songwriter JV Scott describes it as his only purely autobiographical song, or close enough anyway. It's about growing up in a small industrial town in Tassie in the 1980s, desperate to get out, and then returning in later years realising the place wasn't so bad after all. Oh, and a car crash.
